Stir Project Management Extranet Overview

As part of our commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a user-friendly approach to project management, Stir Solutions uses a Project Management Extranet. The extranet allows clients to communicate and collaborate with Stir during a project. Using the extranet, clients can check on project progress, view project timelines, share project-related files, and submit comments and questions directly to your Stir Project Manager – from anywhere in the world with an internet connection!

Stir Project Management Extranet Guide and FAQ

Question 1: What is a Project Management Extranet?
Answer 1: An extranet is a secure (restricted) communication network that can be accessed by authorized users, enabling teams, businesses, and organizations to exchange information securely over the internet.

Question 2: Why have I received this log-in and password information?
Answer 2: Because Stir Solutions is currently working to complete a project for your organization, you have been given your own private log-in and password for the Stir Project Management Extranet. This will allow us to communicate and collaborate quickly and effectively.

Question 3: Can I have additional members of my team added to this project extranet?
Answer 3: Yes. Simply email your project manager (or with the name of your project and the name, email address, and phone number of the team member(s) you'd like to have added. We’ll take care of the rest.

Question 4: I have my Stir Project Management Extranet Log-in and Password. Now what?
Answer 4:  Now you can get started communicating and collaborating with Stir to move your project towards completion quickly and effectively. Once you’ve logged-in at, click the title of your project to view the following:

  • To view Initial Project Tasks, click PROJECT Manager > Projects Page
  • To view the Project Timeline, click TIME Manager > Timeline Page
  • To submit Comments/Questions to your Project Manager, click on the title of a Project Task.

This will open a pop-up window that shows both "messages" and "files". By clicking "add" beside “messages”, you can type your comment/question and “submit”. By clicking “add” beside “files”, you can upload a project-related file.  

In either case, your Project Manager will be alerted immediately that you’ve made a new submission, and will respond accordingly.
